Forge wins national Refurbished/Recycled Workplace Award at BCO Awards
We’re delighted to announce that Forge, Woking won the national Refurbished / Recycled Workplace Award at last night’s British Council for Offices (BCO) awards. This award celebrates a corporate or commercial building where significant works have been carried out to adapt the existing building to modern office use.
Forge in Woking is our commercial redevelopment of an unloved concrete frame in Surrey with Hawkins\Brown for V7 Asset Management. Earlier this year, Forge won the regional Refurbished / Recycled Workplace Award for the South of England and South Wales. It was an honour to be included amongst other UK nominees and to take home the national award!
The BCO said, “The striking building exterior gives a whole new look for Woking and the workspace exudes a sense of cool. Clever and thoughtful intervention has maximised the opportunity presented by this location. The design focused attention on the areas that would have the biggest impact to the users of the building. This sensible approach has made a meaningful difference to the tenants, landlord and indeed the local area.”
We were privileged to partner with V7 Asset Management and Hawkins\Brown on this exciting new workspace. Congratulations to all of the nominees and thank you to BCO for this great award!
